RJ Villa
Ain-Ksour, Lebanon
Set on a sloping site in Ain Ksour, surrounded by trees and overlooking the distant sea, this villa was conceived as a contemporary interpretation of Lebanese and Mediterranean traditions. The architectural language is deliberately minimal: plain white volumes articulated with wooden pergolas, shaded terraces, and an architecture of light and openness.
Arrival is marked by a courtyard inspired by the traditional Lebanese placette, complete with a fountain on its side. From this welcoming threshold, transparency defines the spatial journey: Large glazed openings dissolve boundaries, while shaded outdoor spaces extend the use of the garden throughout the seasons. From the west side an infinity-edge pool merges with the distant sea view in the Horizon.
Every element was studied to enhance connection to the site, from the orientation of views to the placement of pergolas for light and shade. The result is a serene family residence that distills Mediterranean clarity and Lebanese rootedness into a timeless architectural expression.
